A cleartext transmission of sensitive information exists in Rocket.Chat <v5, <v4.8.2 and <v4.7.5 relating to Oauth tokens by having the permission "view-full-other-user-info", this could cause an oauth token leak in the product.

Communications between Medtronic MiniMed MMT pumps and wireless accessories are transmitted in cleartext. A sufficiently skilled attacker could capture these transmissions and extract sensitive information, such as device serial numbers.

Using the AES-128-CCM algorithm for IPSec on certain Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® firewalls (PA-7500, PA-5400, PA-5400f, PA-3400, PA-1600, PA-1400, and PA-400 Series) leads to unencrypted data transfer to devices that are connected to the PAN-OS firewall through IPSec. In Jenkins Gitea Plugin 1.4.4 and earlier, the implementation of Gitea personal access tokens did not support credentials masking, potentially exposing them through the build log.

This vulnerability exists in the Meon KYC solutions due to transmission of sensitive data in plain text within the response payloads of certain API endpoints. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by intercepting API response that contains unencrypted sensitive information belonging to other users. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow remote attacker to impersonate the target user and gain unauthorized access to the user account.

A vulnerability has been identified in SICAM PAS/PQS (All versions < V7.0). Affected software transmits the database credentials for the inbuilt SQL server in cleartext. In combination with the by default enabled xp_cmdshell feature unauthenticated remote attackers could execute custom OS commands. An issue was discovered on Dahua DHI-HCVR7216A-S3 3.210.0001.10 build 2016-06-06 devices. The Dahua DVR Protocol, which operates on TCP Port 37777, is an unencrypted, binary protocol. Performing a Man-in-the-Middle attack allows both sniffing and injections of packets, which allows creation of fully privileged new users, in addition to capture of sensitive information.

During a routine security analysis, it was found that one of the ports in Apache Impala (incubating) 2.7.0 to 2.8.0 sent data in plaintext even when the cluster was configured to use TLS. The port in question was used by the StatestoreSubscriber class which did not use the appropriate secure Thrift transport when TLS was turned on. It was therefore possible for an adversary, with access to the network, to eavesdrop on the packets going to and coming from that port and view the data in plaintext.

In the "NQ Contacts Backup & Restore" application 1.1 for Android, no HTTPS is used for transmitting login and synced user data. When logging in, the username is transmitted in cleartext along with an SHA-1 hash of the password. The attacker can either crack this hash or use it for further attacks where only the hash value is required.

Trend Micro ServerProtect for Linux 3.0 before CP 1531 allows attackers to eavesdrop and tamper with updates by leveraging unencrypted communications with update servers.

An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. macOS before 10.13 is affected. The issue involves the "Captive Network Assistant" component. It allows remote attackers to discover cleartext passwords in opportunistic circumstances by sniffing the network during use of the captive portal browser, which has a UI error that can lead to cleartext transmission without the user's awareness.
