CVE-2026-27901 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-03-05 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
Svelte performance oriented web framework. Prior to version 5.53.5, the contents of `bind:innerText` and `bind:textContent` on `contenteditable` elements were not properly escaped. This could enable HTML injection and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) if rendering untrusted data as the binding's initial value on the server. Version 5.53.5 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-27902 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-03-05 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
Svelte performance oriented web framework. Prior to version 5.53.5, errors from `transformError` were not correctly escaped prior to being embedded in the HTML output, causing potential HTML injection and XSS if attacker-controlled content is returned from `transformError`. Version 5.53.5 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-27119 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-02-23 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
svelte performance oriented web framework. From 5.39.3, <=5.51.4, in certain circumstances, the server-side rendering output of an <option> element does not properly escape its content, potentially allowing HTML injection in the SSR output. Client-side rendering is not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.51.5.
CVE-2026-27121 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-02-23 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
svelte performance oriented web framework. Versions of svelte prior to 5.51.5 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) during server-side rendering. When using spread syntax to render attributes from untrusted data, event handler properties are included in the rendered HTML output. If an application spreads user-controlled or external data as element attributes, an attacker can inject malicious event handlers that execute in victims' browsers. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.51.5.
CVE-2026-27122 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-02-23 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
svelte performance oriented web framework. Prior to 5.51.5, when using <svelte:element this={tag}> in server-side rendering, the provided tag name is not validated or sanitized before being emitted into the HTML output. If the tag string contains unexpected characters, it can result in HTML injection in the SSR output. Client-side rendering is not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.51.5.
CVE-2026-27125 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-02-23 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
svelte performance oriented web framework. Prior to 5.51.5, in server-side rendering, attribute spreading on elements (e.g. <div {...attrs}>) enumerates inherited properties from the object's prototype chain rather than only own properties. In environments where Object.prototype has already been polluted — a precondition outside of Svelte's control — this can cause unexpected attributes to appear in SSR output or cause SSR to throw errors. Client-side rendering is not affected. This vulnerabilit ...

CVE-2025-15265 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2026-01-23 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
An SSR XSS exists in async hydration when attacker‑controlled keys are passed to hydratable. The key is embedded inside a <script> block without HTML‑safe escaping, allowing </script> to terminate the script and inject arbitrary JavaScript. This enables remote script execution in users' browsers, with potential for session theft and account compromise. This issue affects Svelte: from 5.46.0 before 5.46.3.
CVE-2025-67647 1 Svelte 2 Adapter-node, Kit 2026-01-21 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
SvelteKit is a framework for rapidly developing robust, performant web applications using Svelte. Prior to 2.49.5, SvelteKit is vulnerable to a server side request forgery (SSRF) and denial of service (DoS) under certain conditions. From 2.44.0 through 2.49.4, the vulnerability results in a DoS when your app has at least one prerendered route (export const prerender = true). From 2.19.0 through 2.49.4, the vulnerability results in a DoS when your app has at least one prerendered route and you ar ...

CVE-2026-22803 1 Svelte 1 Kit 2026-01-21 N/A 7.5 HIGH
SvelteKit is a framework for rapidly developing robust, performant web applications using Svelte. From 2.49.0 to 2.49.4, the experimental form remote function uses a binary data format containing a representation of submitted form data. A specially-crafted payload can cause the server to allocate a large amount of memory, causing DoS via memory exhaustion. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.49.5.
CVE-2026-22775 1 Svelte 1 Devalue 2026-01-20 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. From 5.1.0 to 5.6.1, certain inputs can cause devalue.parse to consume excessive CPU time and/or memory, potentially leading to denial of service in systems that parse input from untrusted sources. This affects applications using devalue.parse on externally-supplied data. The root cause is the ArrayBuffer hydration expecting base64 encoded strings as input, but not checkin ...

CVE-2024-53262 1 Svelte 1 Sveltekit 2025-08-28 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
SvelteKit is a framework for rapidly developing robust, performant web applications using Svelte. The static error.html template for errors contains placeholders that are replaced without escaping the content first. error.html is the page that is rendered when everything else fails. It can contain the following placeholders: %sveltekit.status% — the HTTP status, and %sveltekit.error.message% — the error message. This leads to possible injection if an app explicitly creates an error with a messa ...

CVE-2024-53261 1 Svelte 1 Sveltekit 2025-08-28 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
SvelteKit is a framework for rapidly developing robust, performant web applications using Svelte. "Unsanitized input from *the request URL* flows into `end`, where it is used to render an HTML page returned to the user. This may result in a Cross-Site Scripting attack (XSS)." The files `packages/kit/src/exports/vite/dev/index.js` and `packages/kit/src/exports/vite/utils.js` both contain user controllable data which under specific conditions may flow to dev mode pages. There is little to no expec ...

CVE-2024-23641 1 Svelte 2 Adapter-node, Kit 2024-11-21 N/A 7.5 HIGH
SvelteKit is a web development kit. In SvelteKit 2, sending a GET request with a body eg `{}` to a built and previewed/hosted sveltekit app throws `Request with GET/HEAD method cannot have body.` and crashes the preview/hosting. After this happens, one must manually restart the app. `TRACE` requests will also cause the app to crash. Prerendered pages and SvelteKit 1 apps are not affected. `@sveltejs/adapter-node` versions 2.1.2, 3.0.3, and 4.0.1 and `@sveltejs/kit` version 2.4.3 contain a patch ...

CVE-2023-29008 1 Svelte 1 Sveltekit 2024-11-21 N/A 8.8 HIGH
The SvelteKit framework offers developers an option to create simple REST APIs. This is done by defining a `+server.js` file, containing endpoint handlers for different HTTP methods. SvelteKit provides out-of-the-box cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection to its users. The protection is implemented at `kit/src/runtime/server/respond.js`. While the implementation does a sufficient job of mitigating common CSRF attacks, the protection can be bypassed in versions prior to 1.15.2 by simply sp ...

CVE-2024-45047 1 Svelte 1 Svelte 2024-09-25 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
svelte performance oriented web framework. A potential mXSS vulnerability exists in Svelte for versions up to but not including 4.2.19. Svelte improperly escapes HTML on server-side rendering. The assumption is that attributes will always stay as such, but in some situation the final DOM tree rendered on browsers is different from what Svelte expects on server-side rendering. This may be leveraged to perform XSS attacks, and a type of the XSS is known as mXSS (mutation XSS). More specifically, t ...
