CVE-2023-52840 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-12-31 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: synaptics-rmi4 - fix use after free in rmi_unregister_function() The put_device() calls rmi_release_function() which frees "fn" so the dereference on the next line "fn->num_of_irqs" is a use after free. Move the put_device() to the end to fix this.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: mdio: fix memory leak Syzbot reported memory leak in MDIO bus interface, the problem was in wrong state logic. MDIOBUS_ALLOCATED indicates 2 states: 1. Bus is only allocated 2. Bus allocated and __mdiobus_register() fails, but device_register() was called In case of device_register() has been called we should call put_device() to correctly free the memory allocated for this device, but mdiobus_free() calls just kf ...

CVE-2024-35889 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-12-31 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: fix kernel panic on unknown packet types In the very rare case where a packet type is unknown to the driver, idpf_rx_process_skb_fields would return early without calling eth_type_trans to set the skb protocol / the network layer handler. This is especially problematic if tcpdump is running when such a packet is received, i.e. it would cause a kernel panic. Instead, call eth_type_trans for every single packet, even when ...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ax25: fix use-after-free bugs caused by ax25_ds_del_timer When the ax25 device is detaching, the ax25_dev_device_down() calls ax25_ds_del_timer() to cleanup the slave_timer. When the timer handler is running, the ax25_ds_del_timer() that calls del_timer() in it will return directly. CVE-2021-46979 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-12-31 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: core: fix ioctl handlers removal Currently ioctl handlers are removed twice. For the first time during iio_device_unregister() then later on inside iio_device_unregister_eventset() and iio_buffers_free_sysfs_and_mask(). Double free leads to kernel panic. Fix this by not touching ioctl handlers list directly but rather letting code responsible for registration call the matching cleanup routine itself.
