A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the UNIX protocol in net/unix/diag.c In unix_diag_get_exact in the Linux Kernel. The newly allocated skb does not have sk, leading to a NULL pointer. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially cause a denial of service.
CVE-2023-1990 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-19 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
A use-after-free flaw was found in ndlc_remove in drivers/nfc/st-nci/ndlc.c in the Linux Kernel. This flaw could allow an attacker to crash the system due to a race problem.
CVE-2023-1382 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-19 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM

A memory leak flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Stream Control Transmission Protocol. This issue may occur when a user starts a malicious networking service and someone connects to this service. This could allow a local user to starve resources, causing a denial of service.
CVE-2023-52508 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-19 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-fc: Prevent null pointer dereference in nvme_fc_io_getuuid() The nvme_fc_fcp_op structure describing an AEN operation is initialized with a null request structure pointer. An FC LLDD may make a call to nvme_fc_io_getuuid passing a pointer to an nvmefc_fcp_req for an AEN operation. Add validation of the request structure pointer before dereference.
CVE-2023-52502 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-19 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: nfc: fix races in nfc_llcp_sock_get() and nfc_llcp_sock_get_sn() Sili Luo reported a race in nfc_llcp_sock_get(), leading to UAF. Getting a reference on the socket found in a lookup while holding a lock should happen before releasing the lock. nfc_llcp_sock_get_sn() has a similar problem. Finally nfc_llcp_recv_snl() needs to make sure the socket found by nfc_llcp_sock_from_sn() does not disappear.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/fair: Fix shift-out-of-bounds in load_balance() Syzbot reported a handful of occurrences where an sd->nr_balance_failed can grow to much higher values than one would expect. A successful load_balance() resets it to 0; a failed one increments it. Once it gets to sd->cache_nice_tries + 3, this *should* trigger an active balance, which will either set it to sd->cache_nice_tries+1 or reset it to 0. However, in case the to-b ...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: marvell: prestera: fix port event handling on init For some reason there might be a crash during ports creation if port events are handling at the same time because fw may send initial port event with down state. The crash points to cancel_delayed_work() which is called when port went is down. Currently I did not find out the real cause of the issue, so fixed it by cancel port stats work only if previous port's state w ...

CVE-2020-36780 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-19 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: sprd: fix reference leak when pm_runtime_get_sync fails The PM reference count is not expected to be incremented on return in sprd_i2c_master_xfer() and sprd_i2c_remove(). However, pm_runtime_get_sync will increment the PM reference count even failed. Forgetting to putting operation will result in a reference leak here. CVE-2023-31084 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more 2025-03-18 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in drivers/media/dvb-core/dvb_frontend.c in the Linux kernel 6.2. There is a blocking operation when a task is in !TASK_RUNNING. In dvb_frontend_get_event, wait_event_interruptible is called; the condition is dvb_frontend_test_event(fepriv,events). In dvb_frontend_test_event, down(&fepriv->sem) is called. However, wait_event_interruptible would put the process to sleep, and down(&fepriv->sem) may block the process.
CVE-2023-2177 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-03-18 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A null pointer dereference issue was found in the sctp network protocol in net/sctp/stream_sched.c in Linux Kernel. If stream_in allocation is failed, stream_out is freed which would further be accessed. A local user could use this flaw to crash the system or potentially cause a denial of service.
