An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.9. When handling a URN request, a corresponding HTTP request is made. This HTTP request doesn't go through the access checks that incoming HTTP requests go through. This causes all access checks to be bypassed and allows access to restricted HTTP servers, e.g., an attacker can connect to HTTP servers that only listen on localhost.

An issue was discovered in Squid through 4.7. When Squid is parsing ESI, it keeps the ESI elements in ESIContext. ESIContext contains a buffer for holding a stack of ESIElements. When a new ESIElement is parsed, it is added via addStackElement. addStackElement has a check for the number of elements in this buffer, but it's off by 1, leading to a Heap Overflow of 1 element. An attacker could first make a request to their domain using an encoded username, then when a request for the target domain comes in that decodes to the exact URL, it will serve the attacker's HTML instead of the real HTML. On Squid servers that also act as reverse proxies, this allows an attacker to gain access to features that only reverse proxies can use, such as ESI.

An issue was discovered in Squid through 4.7. When handling the tag esi:when when ESI is enabled, Squid calls ESIExpression::Evaluate. This function uses a fixed stack buffer to hold the expression while it's being evaluated. When processing the expression, it could either evaluate the top of the stack, or add a new member to the stack. When adding a new member, there is no check to ensure that the stack won't overflow.

An issue was discovered in Open Ticket Request System (OTRS) 7.0.x through 7.0.8, Community Edition 6.0.x through 6.0.19, and Community Edition 5.0.x through 5.0.36. In the customer or external frontend, personal information of agents (e.g., Name and mail address) can be disclosed in external notes.

Wikimedia MediaWiki 1.23.0 through 1.32.1 has an information leak. Privileged API responses that include whether a recent change has been patrolled may be cached publicly. Fixed in 1.32.2, 1.31.2, 1.30.2 and 1.27.6.

Wikimedia MediaWiki 1.27.0 through 1.32.1 might allow DoS. Passing invalid titles to the API could cause a DoS by querying the entire watchlist table. Fixed in 1.32.2, 1.31.2, 1.30.2 and 1.27.6.

Wikimedia MediaWiki 1.30.0 through 1.32.1 has XSS. Loading user JavaScript from a non-existent account allows anyone to create the account, and perform XSS on users loading that script. Fixed in 1.32.2, 1.31.2, 1.30.2 and 1.27.6.

Wikimedia MediaWiki through 1.32.1 has Incorrect Access Control. Suppressed log in RevisionDelete page is exposed. Fixed in 1.32.2, 1.31.2, 1.30.2 and 1.27.6.

An Incorrect Access Control vulnerability was found in Wikimedia MediaWiki 1.27.0 through 1.32.1. Directly POSTing to Special:ChangeEmail would allow for bypassing re-authentication, allowing for potential account takeover.

MediaWiki through 1.32.1 has Incorrect Access Control (issue 1 of 3). A spammer can use Special:ChangeEmail to send out spam with no rate limiting or ability to block them. Fixed in 1.32.2, 1.31.2, 1.30.2 and 1.27.6.

Wikimedia MediaWiki through 1.32.1 allows CSRF.

file_copy_fallback in gio/gfile.c in GNOME GLib 2.15.0 through 2.61.1 does not properly restrict file permissions while a copy operation is in progress. Instead, default permissions are used.

In Apache SpamAssassin before 3.4.3, a message can be crafted in a way to use excessive resources. Upgrading to SA 3.4.3 as soon as possible is the recommended fix but details will not be shared publicly.

When Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.28, 8.5.0 to 8.5.47, 7.0.0 and 7.0.97 is configured with the JMX Remote Lifecycle Listener, a local attacker without access to the Tomcat process or configuration files is able to manipulate the RMI registry to perform a man-in-the-middle attack to capture user names and passwords used to access the JMX interface. The attacker can then use these credentials to access the JMX interface and gain complete control over the Tomcat instance.

FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.9.1 might allow attackers to have a variety of impacts by leveraging failure to block the logback-core class from polymorphic deserialization. Depending on the classpath content, remote code execution may be possible.

In Wireshark 3.0.0 to 3.0.1, 2.6.0 to 2.6.8, and 2.4.0 to 2.4.14, the dissection engine could crash. This was addressed in epan/packet.c by restricting the number of layers and consequently limiting recursion.

An attacker could send a malicious email to an OTRS system. If a logged-in agent user quotes it, the email could cause the browser to load external image resources.
