Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 133, Thunderbird 133, Firefox ESR 128.5, and Thunderbird 128.5. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. When segmenting specially crafted text, segmentation would corrupt memory leading to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 134, Firefox ESR < 128.6, Thunderbird < 134, and Thunderbird < 128.6.

Parsing a JavaScript module as JSON could, under some circumstances, cause cross-compartment access, which may result in a use-after-free. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 134, Firefox ESR < 128.6, Thunderbird < 134, and Thunderbird < 128.6.

When using Alt-Svc, ALPN did not properly validate certificates when the original server is redirecting to an insecure site. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 134, Firefox ESR < 128.6, Thunderbird < 134, and Thunderbird < 128.6.

An attacker could, via a specially crafted multipart response, execute arbitrary JavaScript under the `resource://devtools` origin. This could allow them to access cross-origin JSON content. This access is limited to "same site" documents by the Site Isolation feature on desktop clients, but full cross-origin access is possible on Android versions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 131, Firefox ESR < 128.3, Firefox ESR < 115.16, Thunderbird < 128.3, and Thunderbird < 131.

An attacker could, via a specially crafted multipart response, execute arbitrary JavaScript under the `resource://pdf.js` origin. This could allow them to access cross-origin PDF content. This access is limited to "same site" documents by the Site Isolation feature on desktop clients, but full cross-origin access is possible on Android versions. When handling keypress events, an attacker may have been able to trick a user into bypassing the "Open Executable File?" confirmation dialog. This could have led to malicious code execution. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 133, Firefox ESR < 128.5, Thunderbird < 133, and Thunderbird < 128.5.

The application failed to account for exceptions thrown by the `loadManifestFromFile` method during add-on signature verification. This flaw, triggered by an invalid or unsupported extension manifest, could have caused runtime errors that disrupted the signature validation process. As a result, the enforcement of signature validation for unrelated add-ons may have been bypassed. Signature validation in this context is used to ensure that third-party applications on the user's computer have not ... jar: URLs retrieve local file content packaged in a ZIP archive. The null and everything after it was ignored when retrieving the content from the archive, but the fake extension after the null was used to determine the type of content. This could have been used to hide code in a web extension disguised as something else like an image.
