Mattermost versions 10.5.x <= 10.5.1, 10.4.x <= 10.4.3, 9.11.x <= 9.11.9 fail to restrict certain operations on system admins to only other system admins, which allows delegated granular administration users with the "Edit Other Users" permission to perform unauthorized modifications to system administrators via improper permission validation.

Mattermost versions 10.5.x <= 10.5.1, 10.4.x <= 10.4.3, 9.11.x <= 9.11.9 fail to prevent Wrangler posts from triggering AI responses. This vulnerability allows users without access to the AI bot to activate it by attaching the activate_ai override property to a post via the Wrangler plugin, provided both the AI and Wrangler plugins are enabled.

VMware Tools for Windows contains an improper authorisation vulnerability due to the way it handles user access controls. A malicious actor with non-administrative privileges on a guest VM, who is already authenticated through vCenter or ESX may exploit this issue to access other guest VMs. Successful exploitation requires knowledge of credentials of the targeted VMs and vCenter or ESX.

This issue does not affect the availability of the specific API resources. Authenticated Cognito users may gain unintended access to protected API resources or methods, leading to potential data disclosure, and modification issues. Impacted versions: >=2.142.0;<=2.148.0. A patch is included in CDK versions >=2.148.1. Users are advised to upgrade their AWS CDK version to 2.148.1 or newer and re-deploy their application(s) to address this issue.

Umbraco is a free and open source .NET content management system. An improper API access control issue has been identified Umbraco's API management package prior to versions 15.2.3 and 14.3.3, allowing low-privilege, authenticated users to create and update data type information that should be restricted to users with access to the settings section. The issue is patched in versions 15.2.3 and 14.3.3. No known workarounds are available.

Umbraco is a free and open source .NET content management system. In versions of Umbraco's web backoffice program prior to versions 10.8.9 and 13.7.1, via manipulation of backoffice API URLs, it's possible for authenticated backoffice users to retrieve or delete content or media held within folders the editor does not have access to. The issue is patched in versions 10.8.9 and 13.7.1. No known workarounds are available.
