| CVE-2021-43804 | 2 Debian, Teluu | 2 Debian Linux, Pjsip | 2025-11-04 | 7.5 HIGH | 7.3 HIGH |
|
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In affected versions if the incoming RTCP BYE message contains a reason's length, this declared length is not checked against the actual received packet size, potentially resulting in an out-of-bound read access. This issue affects all users that use PJMEDIA and RTCP. A malicious actor can send a RTCP BYE message with an invalid ...

Issue summary: Use of the low-level GF(2^m) elliptic curve APIs with untrusted
explicit values for the field polynomial can lead to out-of-bounds memory reads
or writes.
Impact summary: Out of bound memory writes can lead to an application crash or
even a possibility of a remote code execution, however, in all the protocols
involving Elliptic Curve Cryptography that we're aware of, either only "named
curves" are supported, or, if explicit curve parameters are supported, they

This flaw most likely leads to a crash, but can also lead to heap contents
getting returned to the application when

Ignore nCR3[4:0] when loading PDPTEs from memory for nested SVM, as bits
