n the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/boot: Avoid possible physmem_info segment corruption When physical memory for the kernel image is allocated it does not consider extra memory required for offsetting the image start to match it with the lower 20 bits of KASLR virtual base address. That might lead to kernel access beyond its memory range.

  • (es) En el kernel de Linux, se ha resuelto la siguiente vulnerabilidad: s390/boot: Evitar la posible corrupción del segmento physmem_info Cuando se asigna memoria física para la imagen del kernel, no se tiene en cuenta la memoria adicional necesaria para compensar el inicio de la imagen para que coincida con los 20 bits inferiores de la dirección base virtual de KASLR. Eso podría provocar un acceso al kernel más allá de su rango de memoria.
